California Bank & Trust (CB&T) announced today the appointment of Daisy Stall, a financial executive with more than 25 years of experience in the banking and entertainment industries, as its new executive vice president and entertainment finance director.

Stall is renowned in the entertainment industry for structuring and agenting large, complex, syndicated film finance transactions. The breadth of her experience includes working as the managing director of entertainment/technology, media and telecommunications at CIT Bank for nearly a decade. Prior to CIT, she worked at Sony Pictures Entertainment as vice president and assistant treasurer where she managed global liquidity, all foreign exchange and capital funding for the studio's film and TV productions and its global operating subsidiaries.

In her new role, Stall will be leading the growth of the bank's entertainment portfolio and team. With her extensive banking expertise and strong entertainment network, Stall is the ideal fit to oversee the expansion of CB&T's entertainment banking division.

"Daisy Stall has a keen understanding of the needs of Hollywood producers," said CB&T Executive Director of Commercial Banking, Chris Edmonds. "Her diverse experience and deep industry connections will help CB&T continue to expand our entertainment banking portfolio. We couldn't be more delighted to welcome her to CB&T."

Stall enters her new role eager to build on CB&T's existing entertainment portfolio, with plans to expand the bank's senior debt offerings and other comprehensive banking solutions tailored to address the unique needs of independent producers and other entertainment industry firms.

"As the industry's business model continues to evolve in the film, television and music spaces, I am bullish about the prospects during this time of change," stated Stall. "My new role at CB&T will allow me to leverage the bank's strong balance sheet and entrepreneurial culture to better serve my clients."

Stall is an active leader of the nonprofit organization, Female Executives in Media and Entertainment (FEME) since 2016 and has served as a board member and treasurer since 2019. Stall enjoys mentoring the next generation of talent looking to navigate the industry. She currently resides in Manhattan Beach, Calif. and enjoys traveling and martial arts.
