New Marriott Bonvoy Tier Matching, Enriched Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Vacation Perks, Tier Celebrations and Rollover Tier Credits Highlight Exciting Program Enhancements

LAS VEGAS, March 25, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- MGM Rewards, MGM Resorts' loyalty program, is rolling out new industry-leading benefits for millions of members including the debut of Milestone Rewards to unlock more perks in between tiers, expanded tier match benefits with Marriott Bonvoy, enhanced benefits through Royal Caribbean, the launch of an eGift card, and coming soon, an iconic credit card.

Highlights of the new additions to MGM Rewards include:
Marriott Bonvoy Tier Matching Enhancements
- MGM Rewards Pearl members now earn Marriott Bonvoy tier matching benefits, enjoying Silver Elite status.
- MGM Rewards Gold Members will now enjoy Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
- MGM Rewards Platinum members continue to enjoy their tier match benefit into Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status.
- MGM Rewards NOIR members continue to enjoy the ultimate in exclusive perks, and tier match into Marriott Bonvoy Ambassador Elite, Marriott's most prestigious tier status.
- These elevated tier match benefits, collectively, provide more MGM Rewards members with additional access to perks at over 10,000 Marriott Bonvoy global destinations, such as priority late checkout, room upgrades, welcome gifts and more. Previously linked accounts will reflect the new tier status match automatically.
Elevated Access to Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises
- MGM Rewards Platinum and NOIR members will receive greater access to benefits for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, including upgraded stateroom types, a larger variety of exciting itineraries and longer vacation options redeemable through their Annual Cruise Benefit.
- The Annual Cruise Benefit is now available for MGM Rewards Gold members.
- All MGM Rewards members will receive a new Onboard FreePlay benefit, based on MGM Rewards Tier Status, on Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises voyages when sailing on an MGM Rewards loyalty offer, certificate offer, or group cruise.
Milestone Rewards
- Members can now earn new Milestone Rewards available between Tier Status achievements. The addition of Rollover Tier Credits allows members to accelerate their status climb by earning up to 25,000 Tier Credits that can be carried over into the 2026 Tier Credit earning year by achieving both of the following milestones:
- Earn 50,000 Tier Credits in 2025 and carry over 7,500 Rollover Tier Credits into 2026.
- Earn 125,000 Tier Credits in 2025 and carry over an additional 17,500 Rollover Tier Credits into 2026
- Members will receive premium added perks when achieving each status, such as:
- Gold: $100 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts allowing members their choice of hotel, dining, spa, or entertainment experiences and more
- Platinum: $200 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts + up to $600 air travel credit to fly to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Borgata
- NOIR: $500 Tier Celebration Credit at MGM Resorts + up to $1200 air travel credit to fly to Las Vegas, Beau Rivage, or Borgata
eGift Card
- The debut of the new MGM Rewards eGift Card offers easy, online access to gift experiences at MGM Resorts' 20 iconic destinations from Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas; to Borgata in Atlantic City; Beau Rivage in Mississippi; and MGM National Harbor in Maryland, amongst many others. It's the perfect last-minute gift for that special someone.
- To celebrate the launch of the eGift card, eligible MGM Rewards members will receive an exclusive offer on purchases of the eGift card.
- MGM Rewards eGift Card is redeemable at participating retail locations, restaurants, bars and spas at MGM Resorts' properties. Additionally, the MGM Rewards eGift Card can be applied toward room nights for hotel stays.
This marks the first phase of enhancements to MGM Rewards' program in 2025, setting the stage for a new credit card coming in the near future. The new credit card will unlock an enhanced level of rewards and travel perks and allow members to earn points and Tier Credits faster than ever before.
