Item 8.01 Other Events.
On May 20, 2026, Nano Nuclear Energy Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission has formally accepted the previously submitted Construction Permit Application for the deployment of the Company’s KRONOS MMR™ at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
