With 35 years of federal service, Cattler's career spanned the Navy, Intelligence Community, and NATO before culminating as Director of DCSA. His leadership was transformative for the agency—where he spearheaded the charge to modernize the National Background Investigation Services (NBIS) and strengthened counterintelligence operations for the defense industrial base.
