SmartKem, Inc. (the “Company”) is unable to file its Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended March 31, 2026 (the “Report”) within the prescribed time period without unreasonable effort and expense. The Company currently expects to file the Report by May 20, 2026, within the extension period of five calendar days permitted under Rule 12b-25 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended.
